I try to give back
what I took in
don't wanna deal with 
feelings of resentment

there will be some pain
and some happiness
perhaps two sides 
of the same process

take your crayons
use my pen
mark up my books
I'll leave ink stains 

we'll scratch 
crazy lines
paint them 
over again

try on other sizes
and then see what happens
we'll call it
a draw
