The Wild Woman

The wild woman

They made the bars too light
They couldn't hold her

She'd drink the men into a corner
When they thought they were feeding her

They tried various forms
Of domestication

She didn't take to
Any of them

They'd settle for guided tours
In ambulances behind

Face masks and chastity belts
She saw right through them

They had a plan to turn
Her smile into a gallery

But they just couldn't
Get the funding

She outlasted most of them
But still had too many enemies
