Transference

 Transference

everyone’s a lesson

everyone’s a slap in the face

everyone jockeying position

everyone demanding grace

I see what you’re doing

I read the creases

I experience you through me

the subjective is universal

everyone creeping around

everyone seen

the compassion

is selective

that’s the hitch

of this dream

We are products of our times

these thoughts aren’t mine

everything passes through us

from sewers to the divine

I vibe on your signal

you wave you particle

merge into a molecule

divide for reaction

deaf dumb and blind

slaves to the grind

compressed coal hearts

exploited diamond mines

we see through the veil

dancing snake-tailed

impatient for the end

skipping enlightenment

I drive this carcass

despite warnings

from weather service

to deliver you a package

Swinging Needles

 Swinging Needles

I know where

the time goes

it circulates beauty

and potential

in equal

measure

desiring

expression

dissolving

familiar patterns

questioning

symmetries

folding

perspectives

till the subject

is mated

to a certainty it

couldn’t’ve predicted
