The Comedians

 

It wasn’t supposed to 

be like this we adjust 

to what reality is 

so far 

we take in new

information and we talk 

form these hypotheses 

test them out 

we laugh in their faces 

ignoring their approaches 

holding them to the spirit 

of the law 

evoking higher

powers in a song 

staring them in the eyes 

calmly telling them they are wrong
